Florida Club Leagues Structure

Our Vision

To be Florida’s premier youth soccer league where all teams can play and develop regardless of race, creed, sex, ability or economic status. We strive to develop and prepare our clubs for the future. We pledge to give back to our members in the form of player development, business development, coach and referee education, and provide financial aid platforms for the membership community.

ECNL Regional League – Florida (ECNL-RL)

The ECNL Regional League is a Club based platform for players wishing to follow the pathway to ECNL National.

  • Regional Club v Club format
  • U13 through U19 (boys and girls)
  • Post Season Qualification
  • 6 team Minimum requirement
  • Yearly application process

    • National Premier League

    The National Premier Leagues (NPL) serves youth soccer by forming and collaborating with leagues, adopting the Players First philosophy and supporting US Club Soccer’s mission to foster the development of clubs.

    The NPL’s mission is to facilitate more meaningful games, reduce travel and provide a pathway to postseason competition.

  • U13 through U19 (boys and girls)
  • Regional Schedules
  • Post Season Qualification (NPL Finals)
  • Both Club v Club* and Team Based
  • League Application and approval required

    • NOTE: Clubs on the path the ECNL-RL must carry 6 teams across

    North Florida Premier League

    The North Florida Premier League (NFPL) is a Club v Club based league built on flexibility and collaboration to make the best matchups on the field. Offering schedules for U8 through U19 teams within the Northern region of Florida.

    The U13 - U19 age group winners qualify for US Club Post Season advancement.

  • Regional to the North FL Market
  • U8 through U12 (1-3 Divisions
  • U13-U19 (Qualify for Post-season)
  • Full year schedule
  • Club v Club
  • League approval required

    • South Florida Premier League

    The South Florida Premier League (SFPL) is a Club and Team based league focused on offering multiple levels of play for the U8 through U19 age groups within the Southern region of Florida.

    The U13 - U19 age group winners qualify for US Club Post Season advancement.

  • Regional to the South FL Market
  • U8 through U12 (1-3 Divisions)
  • U13-U19 (Qualify for Post-season)
  • Full year schedule
  • Market based format (TBD)

    Central Florida Premier League

    The Central Florida Premier League (CFPL) is a Club v Club based league built on flexibility and collaboration to make the best matchups on the field. Offering schedules for U8 through U19 teams within the Central region of Florida.

    The U13 - U19 age group winners qualify for US Club Post Season advancement.

  • Regional to the Central FL Market
  • U8 through U12 (1-3 Divsions)
  • U13-U19 (Qualify for Post-season)

    • West Florida Premier League

    The West Florida Premier League (WFPL) is a Club and Team based league focused on offering multiple levels of play for the U8 through U19 age groups within the Western region of Florida.

    The U13 - U19 age group winners qualify for US Club Post Season advancement.

  • Regional to West FL market
  • U8 through U12 (1-3 Divisions)
  • U13-U19 (Qualify for Post-Season)
  • Full year schedule
  • Club v Club and Team based combination

    • FCL Academy

    The FCL Academy – (U11/U12)

    The FCL Academy is an exclusive league offered for the U11 and U12 age groups only. The Academy will consist of Pre-ECNL, Pre-ECNL-RL and Pre-NPL teams.

  • Regional Club v Club format
  • U11 and U12 (Boys and Girls)
  • U12 offers two divisions
    • 9v9 (fall) shift to 11v11 (spring)*
    • Full year at 11v11
  • Offered to ECNL, RL and NPL clubs with 6 across ONLY
    • *Spring shift starts January 1st
