Who We Play For

Who We Play For (WWPF) is a FL based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in memory of Rafe Maccarone, who collapsed with his teammates at soccer practice and died of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)

Thanks to funding and partnership from the Florida Legislature and NASCAR, Who We Play For (WWPF) wants to bring free ECG heart screenings to ALL soccer players in the Florida Club League who are 10 years old and up.

FCL Academy

The FCL Academy – (U11/U12)

The FCL Academy is an exclusive league offered for the U11 and U12 age groups only. The Academy will consist of Pre-ECNL, Pre-ECNL-RL and Pre-NPL teams.

  • Regional Club v Club format
  • U11 and U12 (Boys and Girls)
  • U12 offers two divisions
    • 9v9 (fall) shift to 11v11 (spring)*
    • Full year at 11v11
  • Offered to ECNL, RL and NPL clubs with 6 across ONLY
    • *Spring shift starts January 1st
